Look up, spin around, try not to fall

After a gap of 2 years the Trail of Lights in Zilker Park was back this year in 2012. Consequently, there were a lot of people, I mean a LOT. I took these pictures on Tuesday, December 18 and the rush felt like it was saturday. Every dazzling light work and display was beautiful, but my favorite has to be the Elf Poster Artwork. Plus, thanks to the Food Trucks in Austin you could eat some good spicy Kababs, delicious Crepes, traditional Tex-Mex, Pizza, Deserts, Corn with chat masala, and more. Merry Christmas!

Austin Formula 1 Fan Fest

November 16-18, 2012 – “Circuit of the Americas”, USA’s 1st purpose built Formula 1 track opened in Austin, and to celebrate a Fan Fest was organized in downtown. These are some pictures I shot while I was checking it out.

Texas Museum of Automative History

Here’s an interesting place I visited when I was in Dallas a few months ago http://tmah.org/ . They’ve got a lot of classic old cars from the 20th century. So I just shot pictures of some cool looking cars. I spotted a few unforgetably famous cars like the Ford Model-T, Back to the Future’s DMC DeLorean and the 1st James Bond car, the Aston Martin previously owned by George Harrison. But my personal favorite has to be the 1913 Mercer 35 Raceabout, built in Trenton, New Jersey, from 1910 until 1925, its the “Yellow” car which looks like a contraption that came straight out from the movie set of a 19th century victorian era “steam punk” Film!
